Community Work

A Pillar of our Organization

A major facet of Food4Philly, a united community is a stronger one. We strive to emphasize working within the community through all of our initiatives. Our members have worked in a number of food banks, shelters, food packaging warehouses, farms, and more!

Stay on the lookout for our upcoming community excursions!

Foodlink (development paused)

Innovating Modern Solutions

Announced in March of 2022, Foodlink is the next phase of our Food Network! Looking for a late summer/early fall launch, Foodlink looks to easily connect users and volunteers with our partner businesses.

Our simple UI allows aims to allow for easy navigation. Once members connect with our partners, they can schedule a date and time to pick up food donations. When the donations are picked up, our software matches the user with a food bank, shelter, and other locations within their area for drop-off.

This concept can be applied nationwide at almost any high school. For scaling the need for service hours for students and tackling food waste in restaurants and local businesses, Foodlink is the solution!

The F4P Tee

Representation at Large

To support our mission and create a unique product, we launched our own signature t-shirt, the F4P Tee! Working with our Creative Director Angie Chen from scratch, we went over numerous designs until we got the right one. We wanted a design that spoke to the work we do and what we represent.

An homage to our roots, the "Love" symbol is synonymous to the City of Brotherly Love. With help from Angie, we added our own twist to the iconic symbol! We replaced the "O" with our logo to create a stylish yet classic tee that anyone can wear (grey and light purple versions). Custom-made with 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, this comfortable and versatile shirt can be worn on any occasion.

With unwavering support, we raised roughly $4,000 with the sale of our F4P Tee (including our previous merchandise drop in November 2021)!

Food Network

Reinforcing our Commitment

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. If you have any canned goods or desirable items, please contact us (see contact page) for further instructions on what to do to help out.

Food4Philly has partnered with Panera Bread, Dunkin', Tous Les Jours, and several other grocery stores and businesses in the Greater area.

We look to forward on working with more restaurants/businesses for this cause!
